GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation

Data protection law is changing on 25 May 2018 and organisations need to be ready for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The ICO has produced a package of tools and resources to help you get ready. 

I have consulted one of the ICO advisers, and also studied many of the ICO screen pages, and below I set out those that I believe will help businesses navigate quickly to their particular appropriate guidance pages.

There is a vast amount of information and directions on the ICO website, with specific guides for various industries, business sectors and organisations, as below:-

• Small organisations;

• small charities;
• small education organisations;
• small health organisations;
• local government.
